With the commitment letter, you and your shareholders legally formalize the decision to adopt steward-ownership, while postponing the actual implementation to a later stage. At that point, you can, for example, use the templates for the golden share model.
The commitment letter is essentially a shareholders’ agreement (in English). The commitment letter is part of a “how-to” guide for startups, which provides further explanation on how to use it (in Dutch).
